Experience with the Duluth Police includes fifteen years experience  training police recruit officers , including five years as a training

program supervisor; four years as a Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Instructor; three years as a Detective Sergeant in 

Major Crimes Investigative; five years as a Patrol Sergeant; and one   year as the Supervising Sergeant of Financial and Property Crimes.
